NYC Culture: Black Cherokee

Art has many faces, especially in NYC. The artistic people in this great metropolis can make art from anything; even themselves. Case in point BLACK CHEROKEE. This dude is prolific and has been blasting his message under the 125th street entrance to the tri-borough bridge for as long as I can remember. B.C. is a true artist,he don’t need no stinkin gallery or hype. On any given day you can see his work on display for free, all you gotta do is swing by his makeshift gallery off of the FDR. We at WORLD hope to one day meet BLACK CHEROKEE, a true artist who is taking it to the streets! But for now we’ll just admire him from afar. Keep keeping it real BLACK CHEROKEE. We see you.
